Lost Odyssey for the Xbox 360 has been released to the public this week and I am excited at the prospect of the Japanese developers creating a niche within the Xbox 360 market. The game looks great, everything I’ve been reading states that it plays like a traditional Japanese RPG, and it’s been getting decent scores. But for some reason when Americans open the game they see a single disc holder (Picture marked USA) with three game discs crammed in it and the fourth game disc in a paper cd holder, while the rest of the world opens their version (Picture marked Asia), they see all four discs on flippable holders. Why did the American version get screwed with the poor game case layout especially since the 360’s biggest market is in the USA?
